Cyrtomium (Greek, a bow). Polypodiaceae. Asiatic half-hardy or greenhouse ferns of rigid habit. Leaves simply pinnate, anastomosing veins and firm indusia fixed by the depressed center. It differs from Polystichum mainly in venation.—Three or four species known. Culture as for Polystichum, to which it is closely allied.
