Delphinium simplex, Douglas. St. nearly simple, 2-3 ft. high, soft-pubescent throughout: lvs. many-parted, into linear divisions and lobes: racemes dense, little branched; fls. pale blue, with upper petals yellow, lower petals white-bearded; sepals equaling the spur: follicles 3, pubescent; seeds dark, with margins white- winged.
