This is a scan from a 35mm transparency which I took in 2005 (in the Vendée region of France). It shows a close-up of the flowers of the "silk tree", Albizia julibrissin f. rosea. The flowers feature showy clusters of stamens.
This scan is in the Public Domain (however, I retain ownership and copyright of the original transparency and any higher-resolution scans derived from it).
