Grammatophyllum rumphianum, Miq. (C. Guilelmi II, Kriinzl.). Pseudobulbs 6-8 in. long, ovoid or fusiform: Ivs. 1-2 ft. long: raceme nodding or hanging, 3-4 ft. long from the base of the stalk; fls. often 30-35, 3 in. diam., green outside, green blotched with brown-purple within; sepals and petals similar; lip purple-veined, downy. Molucca Isls., Borneo, New Guinea, and the Philippines(?). B.M. 7507. C.O. 1.—A large, showy species. CH
