Acaulescent : height 2-4 ft. : lvs. round-cordate or kidney- shaped, 5-9-lobed, the shallow, rounded lobes with broad teeth, ciliate: sepals spatulate, very blunt, the petals spatulate, equalling or shorter than the sepals. Woods, Va. and N. C. in the mountains. B.B. 2: 180.
