Liparis liliifolia, Rich. Twayblade. Plants 4-10 inch high: leaves oval or ovate, 5 inches long: raceme with many purplish flowers; labellum large, wedge-obovate. Succeeds in well-drained soil on shady banks; woods and thickets, E. N. America.— Procurable from Dutch bulb-dealers and dealers in native plants.
