Lonicera tangutica, Maxim. Low shrub with spreading branches: branchlet glabrous: lvs. obovate to obovate- oblong, acute or obtusish, cuneate at base, ciliate, usually sparingly hairy above, glabrous and glaucescent beneath, ½ - 1¼ in. long: fls. slender-stalked, pendulous; bracts subulate; calyx-teeth minute; corolla tubular-funnelform, slightly ventricose below the middle, limb upright, whitish, flushed pink, ½ in. long; style exserted: fr. bright red. May, June; fr. in July. W. China. Gt. 40, p. 581.
