Nepenthes intermedia, Veitch (? N. hirsuta or N. gracilis x N. Rafflesiana). Lvs. petiolate, lanceolate: pitchers 5-8 x 2-3 in., ovate, slightly ventricose below, green and abundantly small purple-spotted; wings conspicuous fringed; peristome cylindric, greatly elevated into a neck behind, pale green with purple stripes. G.C. II. 17:179. F. 1875, p. 257. Gn. 11, p. 429. G.Z. 21: 265. J.H.S. 21:237, 238.—A pretty, common, and easily grown hybrid.
