Odontoglossum edwardi Reichb. f. Lvs. 2 ft. long, strap-shaped: panicle suberect. curved, 2 ft. long, the rachis bearing many horizontal branches covered with many rather small dark purple fls.; sepals and petals oblong to ovate- obtuse, reflexed and wavy; labellum tongue-shaped, obscurely lobed, with a prominent yellow tabulate callus on the disk. Spring. Ecuador. B.M. 6771. J.H. III. 42:236.—A distinct plant, easily cult.
