'''''Buckinghamia''''' is a small [[genus]] of [[flowering plants]], belonging to the family [[Proteaceae]]. It is [[endemism|endemic]] to [[rainforest]] areas in northern [[Queensland]] in [[Australia]].
The genus was named in [[1868]] by [[Ferdinand von Mueller]] in honour of [[Richard Temple-Grenville, 3rd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos|Richard Grenville]], the [[Duke of Buckingham]].

There are two species as follows:
