Tetratheca hirsuta, Lindl. Sts. rather rigid and erect, 6-18 in. high, minutely pubescent and often hispid with few long spreading reddish hairs: lvs. mostly alternate, ovate-lanceolate to oblong-linear, obtuse, all less than 1/2 in. long: fls. rather large, pink, on slender pedicels; sepals lanceolate; petals oblong, ovary glabrous or slightly glandular, with 1 ovule in each cell.
