Veronica formosa, R. Br. Evergreen corymbosely branched shrub, 2-4 ft. high, practically glabrous: lvs. rather crowded, oval-oblong or lanceolate, entire or very rarely obscurely toothed, thick: fls. pale lilac, in short racemes in the upper axils; calyx deeply 5-parted: caps. oblong, acute or obtuse, turgid. July. Tasmania. B.M. 4512. J.F. 1:3.
