Wahlenbergia tuberosa, Hook. f. Glabrous, with clustered, above-ground tubers: sts. slender, erect, 6-24 in. high, branched and leafy: lvs. about 1 in. long, linear, acute or obtuse, dentate, 1-nerved: fls. in a terminal panicle, white, red-purple-veined; calyx-lobes linear, spreading; corolla campanulate, lobes short and recurved.
