Chives are a very easy to grow virtually anywhere, are perennial, and make a nice addition to countless dishes - from salads to soups and meals... as well as of course the baked potato. The pink-purple flowers are an added bonus, and come a couple of times a year.(more...)

The Freesia is a popular garden plant with a strong perfume which naturalizes easily in frost-free areas. Grown from corms or seed, these plants can do well indoors in pots in a windowsill or in the garden, dug up each winter in colder areas.
