Cedrus Deodara, Loud. Tall tree, of pyramidal habit, to 150 ft.: lvs. 1-2 in. long, dark bluish green, rigid, as thick as broad: cones 3½—5 in. long, reddish brown. Himalayas. Gng. 2:8. G.C. III. 25:139; 34:400. F. 1876, p. 103. Gn. 28, p. 223. V. 20:185. Var. robusta, Carr. Lvs. about 2 in. long, rigid. Var. pendula, Beissn. (var. recurvata pendula, Hort.).
