Hello, I would like to ask what variety of Oleanders that I could grow in my garden. I realize they are very poisonous, but on the other hand I have lots of rhododendrons and other plants already. I have been doing some research. I am unsure as to which ones would do best in our climate. I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Would I need to bring the plant in when winter comes? At what degree should the plant be brought inside? Thanks kindly, Tess newglasgowns@gmail.com

Hi Tess, they're hardy to 15F (-9C) degrees, so you are going to need to bring them indoors when it looks like it's going to drop below that. --Raffi 23:52, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
