Large woody climber: lvs. ternate, coriaceous; lfts. ovate-oblong to narrow-oblong, subcordate, 1-4 in. long, usually entire: fls. in axillary panicles, white, 2-4 in. across with 6-8 oblong sepals: achenes pubescent with a long plumose tail.
