Clerodendron myrmecophilum, Ridley. Shrub, sparingly branched, 3 ft., with terete sts. and white bark: Lvs. opposite and alternate, 1 ft. long, linear-oblong, shining dark green, with a dozen pairs of conspicuous nerves, short-petioled: fls. yellow-red, in a large, showy terminal pubescent panicle; calyx about ⅓in. long; corolla- tube considerably longer than calyx; corolla-lobes Mm- long, obovate to oblong and obtuse; filaments red, much exserted.
