Deutzia myriantha, Lemoine (D. Lemoinei x D. purpurascens). Lvs. oblong-ovate, acuminate, rounded or broadly cuneate at the base, serrulate with spreading teeth, rough above, slightly stellate-pubescent beneath, 1½-3 in. long: fls. in broad corymbs, white, with spreading petals, partly imbricate in bud; filaments strongly toothed; anthers short-stalked; styles shorter than stamens; sepals triangular-ovate, about as long as calyx-tube.
