Primula turkestanica, Regel (P. nivalis var. farinosa, Schrenk). Smaller: lvs. 2-3 in. long, and about 1 in. wide, elliptic-oblong, crenate-dentate or dentate or rarely nearly entire, densely farinose beneath and on the margins: fls. sometimes in superposed umbels; pedicels short; calyx and corolla purplish.
