Sts. 3-4 ft. high, forming a clump, densely covered with lanceolate, linear, acute, bluish green pubescent Lvs., those of the infl. yellow, or the base of the st. bare later, except for the conspicuous leaf-scars: umbel many-rayed; glands 2-horned.
