Habenaria bonatea, Reichb. f. (Bonatea specidsa, Willd.). Stout, leafy: fls. rather large, light green and white; lobes of lip, especially central one, tubular toward base. S. Afr. G.C. III. 17:743.—Cult, like Disa grandiflora, in a cool greenhouse with plenty of air, in a mixture of fibrous peat and sphagnum with perfect drainage. Requires a Habenaria ciliaris, or liberal supply of water all the yellow fringed orchid, year round. The above text is from the Standard Cyclopedia of Horticulture.
