Clump of Aralia shrubs. Photo taken Richard Chambers, August 2004 in South Georgia, USA, near Statesboro.
This photograph of Hercules' club (Aralia spinosa) can readily be identified by the bipinnate leaves.
Aralia tends to spread by sending out roots from which sprout new bushes. This behavior is evident in this photograph from the spaced trunks of this clump.
