Linaria purpurea, Mill. (Antirrhinum purpureum, Linn.). Erect, branched glabrous perennial, 1-3 ft.: lvs. linear or linear-lanceolate, mostly whorled: fls. bright purple, in long racemes, the throat bearded with white hairs, the tube striped; spur about the length of corolla, curved; calyx-lobes linear-acute. S. Eu.
