Crocus etruscus, Parl. Corm 1 in. or less in diam.: Lvs. about 3, very narrow, as tall as the fl.: upper spathe 1-lvd.: perianth-tube short exserted; segms. 1-l½in. long, lilac, or the outer ones cream-colored and sometimes purple-feathered outside; throat yellow, slightly pubescent; anthers orange, twice as long as the glabrous filaments; style-branches nearly entire, orange.
