Deutsch: Schwarzer Pfeffer. A blühender Zweig, nat. Grösse; 1 Theil der Blüthenähre, vergrössert (nach Bâillon aus Luerssen); 2 Fruchtknoten, mit Staubgefäss, desgl.; 3 Staubgefäss, desgl.; 4 junge, noch grüne Frucht im Längsschnitt, desgl.; 5, 6 Theil der Fruchtähre, nat. Grösse und vergrössert (der Farbenton ist falsch; er müsste bei 5 roth, bei 6 grün sein; Fig. 6 nach Hayne); 7 Frucht ohne Fruchtschicht, vergrössert; 8 dieselbe im Längsschnitt, desgl.
Latina: Piper nigrum.
Русский: Перец чёрный. A — цветущая ветвь; 1 — часть колосовидного соцветия; 2 — завязь с тычинками; 3 — тычинка; 4 — незрелый, еще зеленый плод (костянка) в продольном разрезе; 5 и 6 — часть соцветия; 7 — плод без околоплодника; 8 — то же в продольном разрезе.
