Summary

A picture I took of a giant poison ivy vine with berries. Poison ivy has three leaves that look somewhat similar to those of blackberries and raspberries but the fruit looks entirely different! You will not mistake a poison ivy berry for a raspberry! Do not eat poison ivy berries as they will cause an internal rash and can be deadly. Poison ivy has no thorns. Wild raspberries and wild blackberries have thorns. Date: July 19, 2006. Location: Northeastern United States (upstate NY).
