Juniperus oxycedrus, linn. bushy shrub or small tree, to 12 ft., with rather slender branches: lvs. linear, spiny- pointed, spreading, ½-3/4in.: fr. globose, ¼-1/3. across, brown, shining, not or slightly glaucous. Medit. region. H.W. 1, p. 193.
