Hastingsia alba, Wats. Mostly stout, 2-3 ft. high: lvs. 1 ½ in. or less wide: racemes simple or nearly so, 1 ft. long, densely fld., the fls. ¼ in. or less long, white or greenish white; stamens equaling the segms. Dry hillsides, N. Calif, northward.
