syn. Hepatica acutiloba, DC. (H. triloba var. acuta, Pursh. Anemone acutiloba, Laws, H. acuta, Brit.). Much like H. triloba, but with the lobes of the Ivs. ovate and acute, occasionally the lateral lobes 2-cleft (rarely the middle one): achenes slightly stipitate. E. U.S.
