Iris reticulata, Bieb. Lvs. 2-4 in a tuft, short, erect, quadrangular, with horny edges, elongating to 1 1/2 ft.: st. very short: tube 3-6 in. long; fls. bright purple, very fragrant; outer segms. 2 in. long, yellow at the claw, with a low yellow crest; inner segms. narrower.
