Jasminum angulare, vahl. climber with long 4-angled branches: lvs. opposite, hirsute; lfts. 3, orbicular, ovate to lanceolate, mucronatc: fls. white, about l ¼in. across, odorless, in 3's on axillary trifid peduncles; calyx glabrous, 5-toothed, the teeth equaling or shorter than the tube; corolla-tube many times longer than calyx, 1-1 1/2 in., very slender; lobes of corolla 5-7, oval-lanceolate, somewhat obtuse or subacute. S. Afr. B.M. 6865. G.C. III. 28:360, 361. var. glabratum, Mey. (J. capense, Thunb.). St. scarcely puberulent, the lvs. glabrous.
