Lupinus hartwegii, Lindl. St. erect, 2-3 ft. high, somewhat branching: Ifts. 7-9, oblong, obtuse, very hairy: fls. in many-fld. elongated racemes, blue; standard whitish, then reddish. June-Sept. Mex. Var. albus is also sold. Possibly a perennial but cult. as an annual.
