Artemisia stelleriana, Bess. (A. endoviciana,Hort.). Old Woman. Dusty Miller. Beach Wormwood. Fig. 385. Herb, 2 ft., from a woody creeping base, densely white tomentose: Lvs. pinnatifid, with obtuse lobes: heads large and many- fld., in a racemose-glomerate infl. N. E. Asia and on the Atlantic coast from Mass, to Del. — Attractive from its whiteness. Useful for borders.
