Primula villosa, Jacq. Lvs. strongly viscid and densely covered with red glands, broad-obovate or oblong or oblong-lanceolate, gradually rarely suddenly narrowed to the petiole, obtuse, often dentate from the middle or only at the apex or even more or less subentire: scape red-glandular, about 6 in. high, exceeding the lvs., 1—12-fld.: bracts green or scarious, broadly ovate, obtuse: fls. rose or lilac; calyx glandular, not split to the middle with short triangular acute or obtuse lobes; corolla-tube slightly broadened toward the white throat, the limb l/2-1 in. across with emarginate obcordate lobes.
