Pritchardia martii, Wendl. Trunk generally not exceeding 5-6 ft., but recorded to 12 ft., as thick as in P. Gaudichaudii: lvs. glabrous and glaucous below, not woolly; segms. about 40, not as deep; petioles longer: calyx densely striate: fr. globose, 1 1/4-1 1/3 in. diam., greenish. Hawaiian Isls.—Cult. in S. Calif.
