Schrankia uncinata, Willd. Sensitive Brier. A hardy herbaceous perennial, branched and decumbent, 2-4 ft. long, well armed with short prickles: lvs. very sensitive, with about 6 pinnae; pinnae with 16-30 lfts.: fls. pink, in globular heads nearly 1 in. through.
