Lysichiton, or Lysichitum is a genus in the family Araceae. It includes two species:

*Lysichiton americanus - Western Skunk Cabbage. Western North America.
*Lysichiton camtschatcense - Asian Skunk Cabbage. Northeastern Asia.

These two species were originally considered conspecific, under the earlier-described name L. camtschatcensis. The genus name means "dissolve (lysi-) chiton". Chiton refers to the armour-like spathe enclosing the inflorescene that withers soon after flowering.
