Like all members of the family, the species are small and with lvs. of very delicate texture; the sporangia are borne in marginal sori protected by 2-lipped cup-like indusium; otherwise the species are like those of Trichomanes, the other large genus of the family.—A genus of about 240 species, nearly all of which are tropical.
