Climbing 15 ft. high: pith of branches lamellate, brown: lvs. ovate-oblong, 4-5 in. long, rounded or cordate, unequally setosely serrate, pubescent on the veins beneath, variegation white or pink: fls. white, 3/4in. across; ovary cylindric: fr. oblong-ovoid, blue, sweet.
