Leptosyne calliopsidea, Gray (Agarista calliopsidea, DC. Coreopsis calliopsidea, Boland.).  Annual, 1-2 ft. high, rather stout and leafy: flowers 3 in. across, long-stalked; rays fewer, shorter and broader than in L. maritima, 1 1/4 in. long, 3/4-l in. wide.
