W. China.—L. insulare, Decne. (L. Stauntonii, Hort., not DC.). Shrub, to 6 ft., allied to L. vulgaro: leaves elliptic-ovate to linear-lanceolate, yellowish green, often pendulous, 2-3 in.: panicles rather large. Origin uncertain.
