Paphiopedilum Parishii, Pfitz. (Cypripedium Parishii, Reichb. f.). Leaves oblong-ligulate, up to 16 in. long and 2 1/2 in. wide, bright green: scape 4-8-flowered, pale green, downy; flowers about 3 in. across; dorsal sepal oblong-elliptic, pale yellow, green-veined, the upper part bent forward, the basal lateral margins revolute; petals twisted, linear, 4-6 in. long, pendulous, the basal part green, with few blackish dots, the upper half blackish purple, pale- margined; lip deep green, often stained brown-purple; staminodium pale yellow, green-mottled, obovate- oblong.
