Agave attenuata, Salm-Dyck (A. glaucescens, Hook.). Trunk 4-5 ft., sometimes prostrate: lvs. broadly oblanceolate, spreading, with recurved tips, 6-10 x25-30 in., glaucous, thin, entirely unarmed: infl. 5-10 ft., usually recurving, its very short stalk closely covered by bracts; fls. paired, about 2 in.; ovary flask-shaped, 3/4-l in., segm. 3/4 in., tube 1/4 in.
