Climbing shrub, with long, slender branches: lvs. opposite, petiolate, oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, entire or somewhat distantly toothed: racemes long, pendulous: fls. yellow, 2 in. across, the tube purple, inclosed by the spathe-like bracts; limb 4-lobed, the upper lip erect, concave, with reflexed side lobes, lower lip of 3 subequal, spreading lobes.
