Trichosma (Greek, three and ridge, referring to the 3-lobed labellum). Orchidaceae. A genus of 1 species resembling Coelogyne. Sepals and petals similar, erect-spreading, the lateral pair forming a distinct mentum with the projecting foot of the column; labellum 3-lobed, the lateral lobes erect, convolute over the column, middle lobe with longitudinal ridges: sts. slender, 2-lvd.: infl. racemose. T. albo-marginata of the trade is unidentified.
