Gentiana andrewsii, Griseb. (G. Cattsbxi, Andr., not Walt.). Closed, Blind or Bottle Gentian. Fig. 1626. St. ascending: fls. purplish blue; calyx-lobes lanceolate to ovate, usually spreading or recurved, shorter than the calyx-tube; corolla-lobes entirely obliterated, the teeth at the top being supposed to be the remains of the appendages often found between the corolla-lobes in other species.
