Primula winteri, W. Wats. (P. petiolaris var. pulverulenta, Hook. f.). Whole plant yellowish or whitish farinose: lvs. obovate spatulate and irregularly dentate, 4 in. long and 2 in. broad: fls. 20 or more in a crowded umbel on a short scape, pale purple with a yellow eye and a broad white ring surrounding it; corolla tube 1 in. long; limb flat. 1 1/4 in. across, the lobes rounded and toothed. Himalaya.
