Thrixspermum lilacinum, Reichb. f. (Sarcochilus lilacinus, Griff.). Climbing: sts. slender, 2-3 ft. high: lvs. alternate, ovate, pale green, 1 1/2 - 2 in. long, cordate and amplexicaul at the base: raceme 1-8 in. long; rachis very stout, compressed, few- to many-fld.: fls. pale rose, white-lilac or bluish, very short-pedicelled; sepals and petals broadly ovate; labellum saccate, white, yellowish and pubescent within: caps. 4-6 in. long, linear.
