Shrub to 4 ft., the young parts white-tomentose: lvs. sessile, elliptic or ovate-oblong, revolute at the margin, reticulate beneath, whitish tomentose, ½-2 in. long: fls. 3-6, lilac or rosy, 2½ in. across; style longer than stamens.
